Better known as "Scotty," the western Pennsylvania native moved to Las Vegas in 1968. Schettler is best known for his time (1983-1991) serving as manager of the Stardust Race and Sports Book. He is currently promoting his new book that highlights the glory days of Nevada's race and sports book industry. The book is cleverly titled, We Were Wiseguys and Didn't Know It
