We feature a lot of Hall of Famers on Sports and Torts, but this week, we're focusing on two guys that aren't in the Hall of Fame but deserve to be there: MLB's Tim Raines, who has the most stolen bases of any player not in the Hall, and wide reciever Cliff Branch, the only member of all three of Oakland's Superbowl teams.

Baseball's Darrell Evans
This time on Sports and Torts, David welcomes former big league 3rd baseman Darrell Evans. Darrell was a two-time all star and home run champion of the American League in 1985. He was also an essential part of the Detroit Tigers 1984 championship team. Overshadowed by Mike Schmidt during his career, Evans is nonetheless considered by some to be one of the most underrated players in MLB history.
 

Playmate of the Year Dani Mathers
It's a triple-play this week on Sports and Torts, starting with the gorgeous Dani Mathers, Playboy's 2015 Playmate of the Year! We'll also hear from Spencer Haywood who will be joining the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2015. Plus, we'll rewind on an interview we did a few years back with legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully.

Remembering Lon Simmons
Hall of Fame broadcaster Lon Simmons whose career spanned five decades calling San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics and 49ers games, died this past weekend at the age of 91. Lon was one of the Bay Area's true play-by-play legends, and David and Elliott had the honor of speaking with him about his career back in the summer of 2013. We will revisit that interview this week.
 

Roger Craig
On this episode, we'll head to the mound with the master of the split-finger fastball, former MLB pitcher and Manager Roger Craig. Roger is a four-time World Series Champ, three as a player and one as a pitching coach for the Tigers.

This week on Sports and Torts, we spend the hour with former NFL Head Coach Charley Winner. Charley had a very interesting career to say the least, which began with Weeb Ewbank in the 1950's, and lasted until the 1990's with Don Shula and the Dolphins. He has some great stories to share.

This week's featured guest is former college head coach Jackie Sherill. As a player, he won two national championships playing for Bear Bryant. As a coach, he groomed Dan Marino for the pros at Pitt, and turned around a struggling program at Mississippi State. He's now a broadcaster for Fox Sports Net. Bob Kuechenberg
Bob Kuechenberg is one of South Florida’s most beloved sports legends. He is considered the most versatile offensive lineman in NFL history. During his 15 year career with the Miami Dolphins, Bob was one of Coach Don Shula’s star players, playing all three offensive line positions. We look back on his Hall of Fame worthy career in this hour long interview.

Elliott and David spend the hour with former all-pro defensive lineman Dexter Manley. College Coaching Legends
Our focus this week is on College football, and we've got two great names to talk about it- Lou Holtz, the only college coach to lead six different programs to bowl games and the only coach to guide four different programs to the final top 20 rankings, and FSU's Bobby Bowden who holds the NCAA record for most career wins and bowl wins by a Division I FBS coach.

David and Elliott are honored to welcome a true sports pioneer to the program. Wallace "“Wally” Triplett was the first African-American starter for the Penn State varsity football team. He was also the first African-American to earn a varsity letter (1946) and the first African-American to be drafted by and play for an NFL team (1949).
 

Jim Plunkett and Barry Switzer
On this edition, David and Elliott get in the huddle with former Raiders QB Jim Plunkett, who has a Heisman Trophy and two Super Bowl rings. And speaking of Super Bowl rings, we've also got Barry Switzer on the program, who coached the Cowboys the championship, and also coached the Oklahoma Sooners to three NCAA national titles.

Taylor is a member of the Washington Redskins Ring of Fame, and was the NFL's all time leading receiver at the time of his retirement. Alworth was considered by some to be the top receiver in all of pro football during the 1960's.
