Pat Washington Patricia Washington is an award winning reporter whose love for journalism was cultivated somewhere between high school cheerleading practice and her paper route in Cape Girardeau Missouri. An avid reader, Patricias customers could count on late delivery because of her habit of reading the entire paper before preparing to deliver itand often taking issue with the opinions expressed on the op-ed page. After graduating from college the budding talk show host embarked upon a journalism career in St. Louis Missouri where she quickly made a name for herself as a tough but fair reporter. Her hard work earned her numerous awards from journalism organizations and community groups alike. She turned in her reporters notebook after serving as Managing Editor of The St. Louis American Newspaper (the #1 African-American Newspaper in the country!) and was quickly offered a position as Press Secretary for St. Louis first African-American Mayor, Freeman R. Bosley Jr. She currently owns her own public relations consulting firm, On Point! Communications and hosts a weekly talk radio show in St. Louis Missouri.
