| Jon Cohn The "Coach" Jon Cohn is a 1974 graduate of New Trier High West High School in Northfield Illinois, and a 1978 grad (barely) from the University Of Illinois. A Phyical Education major, Cohn began his career as an elementary school Physical Education Teacher. He then spent 6 years as athletic director at The Glenview Park District in Glenview, Illinois. In 1989 he started his own business, JC Sports 'N' Tees inc, an imprinted sportswear and advertising specialties business, which is now 20 years and still going strong ! Throughout his career, Cohn has coached sports at all levels. A variety of youth sports (basketball, baseball, volleyball, football, soccer) and he has coached for over 15 years as a high school varsity coach in both basketball and girls softball. Cohn has also given numerous coaching clinics over the years. Currently he is the Head Varsity Girl's Basketball coach at North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, Illinois. Cohn was never formally trained in radio or TV but he did get the "bug" about 20 years ago. Over the years he has hosted two radio shows: "The Naked Truth About Sports" and "The Morning Break". He also appeared for three years on The Score Sportsradio 670, hosting the Saturday Night Overnight Show. In addition, Cohn has announced High School football and basketball for Comcast Sports Television for over 15 years, and is still currently doing so. Married, with two teenage sons, Cohn hopes "2 Guys And A Mic" will be his final stop! |
