Kristin Lamoureux
Kristin Lamoureux is the Director of the International Institute of Tourism Studies at The George Washington University, as well as an adjunct faculty member of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, specializing in the planning and development of sustainable tourism. Additionally, she is involved in several projects focusing on the development of tourism competitive clusters as a means for economic development in various destinations including Bulgaria, Dominican Republic and others. She has also worked as tourism consultant to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Ecotourism Society, and Conservation International, among others. Ms. Lamoureux has been involved in tourism projects within the United States as well as abroad beginning with Ecuador where she lived for several years. She has an A.S. from La Universidad Catolica del Ecuador, a B.S. from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island and a M.T.A. (Master of Tourism Administration) from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is presently completing a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management and Tourism Development at the same university.



 
John Sexton
John Sexton has been a security professional since 1978 with extensive law enforcement experience in the United States and Europe. He is a former Virginia and New York City Law Enforcement Officer and he served as a special investigator for the United Nations on the front lines of war-torn Bosnia, Serbia, and Croatia in the mid ‘90s. His experience with counter-terrorism investigations in Europe qualifies him to help counter the terrorist threats of the new millennium. He has authored numerous articles on security-related topics for international publications and is a key resource for government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. He is also co-chair of the unlicensed activities committee for PISA and sits on the Board of Directors for the Academy of Security Educators and Trainers and the Council of International Investigators. He belongs to several International associations and travels extensively not only as a highly sought-after consultant, but also to foster relations and build strategic alliances around the world. He has authored a book on executive protection for those interested in entering the field.
