Elizabeth McCall
Passionate about horses, travel, and entertainment, Elizabeth Kaye McCall can be found either in the saddle or trotting the globe when not home in “HorseTown USA” Norco, California, writing about it. The author of The Tao of Horses: Exploring How Horses Guide Us on Our Spiritual Path (Adams Media), Elizabeth worked as the horse industry liaison for the acclaimed Canadian equestrian spectacle Cavalia on its North American tour. A frequent contributor to mainstream and equestrian media, her articles have appeared in USA Weekend, Los Angeles Times, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Hemispheres, America’s Horse, Cowboys & Indians, Dresssage Today, Texas Horse Talk, TravelAge West, and more. Elizabeth handled publicity for the lauded French equestrian theater company Zingaro during its only West Coast engagement in the United States. She is currently a consultant to the award-wining Arabian Nights dinner attraction in Orlando, Florida. Elizabeth contributed to the book, the Ultimate Horse Lover, just out from Health Communications, Inc. A member of American Horse Publications and American Horse Council, Elizabeth is a lifelong equestrian. She recently became the proud owner of an Al Khamsa Egyptian Arabian stallion.



 
Brian Portland
I have been involved in the industry since 1967, when I commenced as a Junior Copywriter. Since then, I have worked in a variety of positions, including Talk Back Host, Breakfast DJ, Creative Director, Journalist, and Sales Manager, Promotions Manager; Production Engineer; and Voice-Over Specialist... I started a Production Company - Third eYe Productions - specialising in writing producing and voicing Radio and Television Commercials, Corporate Videos and documentaries .Won a couple of Awards along the way. I Became Exec Producer of Third eYe Productions. Produced and directed the Television Series ”The Way We Were;" a look back at the 60’s & 70s. In 1973, I had a severe accident and am now a Double Amputee above knee and in a wheelchair. I have a commitment to making sure that people with disabilities have and receive the same rights as every other person in everything they do. I competed in the Paralympics and won 5 Gold Medals, also set a Commonwealth Record in Weightlifting in Brisbane at the Commonwealth Games. I am a keen sailor and have been sailing inshore and off shore for the past 40 years. I am a Motivational Speaker with my focus on Ability not disability. I love to travel and explore opportunities for people with disabilities, making sure they are afforded the same comfort and opportunities as any other traveller.
