Patricia Schultz
Patricia Schultz is the author of the international bestseller 1,000 Places to See Before You Die (now with 2.8 million copies in print) and executive producer of the Travel Channel’s television show based on her book. A veteran travel journalist with 25 years of experience, she has written for Frommer’s, Berlitz and Access travel guides, as well as Condé Nast Traveler, Islands and Harper’s Bazaar. Her home base is New York City.



 
Sheryl Kane

Sheryl Kayne is a writer, adventurer, performer, and educator. She is the author of two published children’s books, creator of five newspaper and magazine columns, and contributor to national and international publications including: The New York Times, USA Today, Working Mother, Shape, Parents, American Profile and many others. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in education from the University of Bridgeport and Master of Science degree in school psychology from Fairfield University, and is an Adjunct Professor at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT teaching Public Speaking and Oral Interpretation of Literature. Kayne is also the author of Volunteer Vacations Across America. The recipient of numerous awards for writing, most recently she was the writer-in-residence at the Everglades National Park, Homestead, FL, and a writing fellow at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, NM.
