Up2Me Magazine is a premier magazine of "choice" for individuals, predominately women, seeking to define and live in their life's purpose. When one has defined their life's purpose they become empowered through knowledge, mentoring, peer support, emotional well being, and self motivation.

Magazine content showcases inspiring stories of individuals who share their journey of finding and living in their purpose. Discovering and mastering one's natural talents and interests can unlock the key to a fulfilling service led life. Content also includes relevant information on resources to facilitate and assist individuals seeking their life purpose and learning how to improve and balance life areas such as physical, mental, spiritual, financial and social health.

Melinda Davis
Melinda is a entrepreneur, business executive and has been in the media and entertainment business since 2008.

Melinda gained experience working with the media in front of the camera during her tenure as the Director and spokesperson for the Office of Aging of Fulton County Government, the largest County Government in Georgia. Melinda's appearances included several local (WSB, WAGA, WXIA) and nationally syndicated radio and television shows such as ABC World News Tonight and the CNN/Wolf Blitzer Show.

Following her early retirement after a 25+ year successful career in the private and public sectors, in 2008 Melinda created her own company, Gerontological Marketing Concepts (GMC), a health promotion, media and marketing company. A major accomplishment of the company was being selected to produce health education/outreach media for the Federal Department of Health and Human Services. Melinda's work with GMC also included partnering on special projects with the Emmy Award Winning producers of the syndicated television show Healthcare Heroes.

As a business leader, Melinda is a proud graduate of Leadership DeKalb, Class of 2008. Melinda also served as a professional leadership consultant at the C.T. Vivian Leadership Institute founded and led by the Honorable Civil Rights Leader Dr. C.T. Vivian.

A highlight in Melinda’s career was being invited to and attending the 2012 White House Briefing on the Affordable Care Act for community/business leaders.

Behind the camera, Melinda gained experience in creating, financing, managing and building a cable television network during a special two (2) year (2008-2010) project initiative with a former co-owner of the Black Family Channel (MBC Network) Cable Television Network. It was during this time that Melinda had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with Mr. Steve Forbes, Chairman and Editor- in Chief of Forbes Media.

As a radio personality Melinda’s appearances include CBS Radio Atlanta-WAOK as the Co-Host for the weekly show "Boom Town Talk" with retired NFL Player Jamie Dukes and as the Atlanta Correspondent and Producer for a show called “Good Morning Caribbean” a syndicated internet radio show.

As a writer, Melinda has written several articles for the National Council on Aging and for the Girlfriend’s Health Guide and has been a invited speaker to many conferences and events.

In 2013 Melinda created her second company, Atlanta Life Media, LLC creators of Atlanta Life Radio, a syndicated internet based radio station and Up2Me Magazine.

In 2015 she closed Gerontological Marketing Concepts to devote her time to developing and leading the Atlanta Life Media company and it's brands.

Melinda has been the recipient of several awards and recognition such as Excellence in Service from the White House (Office of Faith Based Initiatives, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services), Mayor of City of Atlanta, Fulton and DeKalb County Commissioners, National Council on Aging, Atlanta Regional Commission and the Georgia Diabetes Coalition. Melinda’s Board of Director’s service includes most recently serving as the Board Chair for the Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 Kingdomwood Christian Film Festival.

Melinda is an active member of the National Alliance for Women in Media and Georgia Production Partnership (GPP). Melinda enjoys traveling and resides in Atlanta with her husband and dog Mysun.

Jennifer Jiles
Jennifer is responsible for initiatives of the Publishing Division and serves as Editor-In Chief for Up2Me Magazine. Jennifer also coordinates Public Relations for the company.

Jennifer is an award-winning communicator and creator of strategic campaigns that advance brands, engage audiences and align communications strategies with business goals. Jennifer’s experience is as extensive as it is diverse and entails areas such as strategic planning, corporate communication, branding, fundraising campaigns, major gifts, annual reports, media relations and coaching, messaging, issue management, crisis communication and change. She has also provided communications counsel, speech-writing and script-writing for live productions to the C-suite, senior executives, college presidents and A-list celebrities.

Jennifer believes that every corporation and organization has a story and she uses a storyteller’s approach as a way to communicate that help to create conversations and results that matter. She has worked with global brands such as AT&T, Hallmark Cards, UPS, BET Television Network, BET.com, AFC Enterprises and Walmart as well as non-profit organizations that include Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Interfaith Center of New York, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, SFK International and a host of Atlanta-based organizations through her role as an instructor with Georgia State University.

Jennifer has served as executive editor of corporate publications and university magazines, and she is a writer who has been published in several magazines and professional publications.
