Stephen H. Baum has been an advisor and coach to CEOs for more than twenty years, first as a partner with Booz Allen & Hamilton, the global consultancy, then as an independent practitioner. As chair of a Vistage Group of business owners and chief executives engaged in peer-to-peer coaching, Mr. Baum’s role is to facilitate confidential exchange of experience, expertise, approaches to decisions, ideas and resources on issues of critical importance to the members. Mr. Baum holds a Bachelor of Science from Princeton University, Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has been an instructor, Senior Examiner and site visit team leader for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. He is a board member of the Actors Studio Drama School, The American Ballroom Theater Company and of Harvard Community Partners. He has been a Junior Achievement advisor. He is also a jazz pianist.

David Magee
David Magee is an award-winning columnist and the non-fiction author of eight books. He is the co-owner of Chattanooga's largest independent bookstore Rock Point Books and the founder of Jefferson Press. Magee writes about issues facing the south in his featured column in the Chattanooga Times Frees. A former newspaper editor, columnist, freelance writer, business owner and small town politician, Magee was named one of Mississippi's top business leaders under the age of 40 in 1998. He decided in 1999 to write full-time; a move he has never regretted. His work has been featured in dozens of national and international publications and he has been a guest on Bloomberg TV, the Discovery Channel, the BBC and Mississippi Public Television. A journalism graduate from the University of Mississippi, Magee now lives on Lookout Mountain, Tennessee with his wife and three children.
