Saed Awwad Saed is an Arab/American of Palestinian descent. After living in the West Bank under Israeli occupation his entire life, his heart was consumed with hatred and bitterness toward the Jewish people. Desperately seeking the dream of freedom, he immigrated to the United States in 1990, at the age of 21. He sought to fulfill his emptiness through many avenues, all of which led to further desolation. God became his final option as he earnestly cried out to Him. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior through a dramatic encounter with the Lord in 1994. Among other things, the Lord revealed that forgiveness was an act of God through which only God could empower Saed to achieve. Forgiveness of the Jewish people took root. He returned to Israel/Palestine in January, 2000 after God's prompting to return to the region. In June, 2000 he had the opportunity to join a group from the United States that was on a mission trip to the Holy Land seeking God's vision. Upon returning to the United States in October 2000, Saed was compelled to begin Echo of Christ Ministries. Along with his responsibilities as Founder/Director of Echo of Christ Ministries, Saed is husband to Linda and father to 4-year-old Bethel and 3-year-old Joshua. Saed is also enrolled in the Bachelor/Master concurrent program at Summit Bible College, focusing on a theology degree with an emphasis on Christian counseling, specifically in marriage and family.
