Kendall Morris
Kendall Morris, Miss Texas 2011, has been traveling the Lone Star State since last July promoting Leukemia awareness, speaking to students, and making numerous appearances. She is a 21-year-old student at Texas Christian University majoring in Journalism with a Broadcast emphasis. In 2006, she was crowned Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen where she went on to win Preliminary Fitness and Evening Gown Awards at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen. At the 2012 Miss America Pageant, Kendall placed in the top 10 and won a Preliminary Swimsuit Award and the Louanne Gamba Instrumentalist Award.

Betty Thompson
Betty is a senior elementary education major at Oklahoma State University. Her platform is Milk, It Really Does a Body Good, which was inspired by growing up on a small dairy farm in rural Oklahoma. Betty dances with the world known McTeggart Irish Dancers and represented the USA at the World Irish Dance Championships for 4 years as well as the All-Ireland Irish Dance Championships for 5 years where she was the first Oklahoman to medal. In the 2012 Miss America pageant Betty was named 1st Runner up and received a Preliminary Talent Award.
