Miss America 2009, Katie Stam is already off to a busy and exciting year! Join Valerie as she talks with Katie about preparing to compete at the national level, the Miss America 2009 pageant competition, and what shes been up to since winning the crown. Then Valerie will be joined by the Miss Puerto Rico Executive Director, Joselo Sostre ,to talk about preparations for the first Miss Puerto Rico pageant. He explains the importance of including Puerto Rico in the Miss America competition. Puerto Rico returns to the pageant in 2010 for the first time in 50 years. In addition, Julie Anne Weiland of Four Points Magazine joins the show in this segment. She tells listeners about what they can expect to read in upcoming issues of the magazine.
