| Laura Buhmann Laura Buhmann, Ms. Galaxy International 2009, comes from Elgin, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Laura is a graduate of National-Louis University with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. She graduated with honors and was an active member of Kappa Delta Pi-a National Honors Society for educators. She is also a graduate of Saint Xavier University where she earned a Masters Degree in Teaching and leadership. |

| Jennifer Ruiz Jennifer Ruiz is a Texas Native! She was born and raised in Mission, TX, deep in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. She grew up in the small city of Mission. While in high school, Jennifer served as National Honor Society President, Varsity Head Cheerleader, Student Council Treasurer, not to mention, ranking 3rd in her graduating class of 750 students. After graduating high school with over 35 college hours, she moved to the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, TX. She attended the University of Texas at Austin on a Presidential Scholarship. She was a part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Young Global Leadership Council, as well as Mu Espilon Theta Catholic Sorority. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Studies with a major in Corporate Communications, Jennifer decided to stay in Austin and attend the State Theatre School of Acting, where she studied Improv and Acting Fundamentals. |
