Dr. George A. Hill Dr. Hill grew up in Milan, a small town in west Tennessee. After graduation from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, he attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and then moved to Nashville, Tennessee. He completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Vanderbilt University and is Board Certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. While at Vanderbilt Dr. Hill developed expertise in laparoscopic and reconstructive surgery in the female and gained proficiency in all aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technologies including in vitro fertilization (IVF), gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT), and zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT). Dr. Hill served as Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University's Center for Fertility and Reproductive Research (CFARR). In 1990, Dr. Hill founded Nashville Fertility Center and along with Dr. Whitworth has directed the assisted reproductive technology program since its opening in the fall of 1991. Along with his three associates, physician peers have recently selected Dr. Hill as one of the best physicians in Nashville. Dr. Hill has been awarded grants for research and treatment of endometriosis and has also investigated new agents for ovulation induction in patients undergoing IVF. His special interests include microsurgical tubal reversal, laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis, and assisted reproductive technologies. He has published numerous book and journal articles dealing with all aspects of infertility and has presented research papers and lectures at meetings throughout the world. Katrin Keiningham Even before being a Certified Nutritionist in the Brentwood/Cool Springs area, Katrin has had a passion for nutrition for many years. Growing up in Germany, she values her "outside looking in" perspective and can help her clients benefits from knowledge she gained living and learning both in Europe and the United States. She dedicates her work to her father, who died last year of liver cancer and unfortunately never believed her that a change in nutrition would be the one thing he could do to save himself. Teaching people that poor eating habits lead to obesity and disease is the most important thing for her. Katrin is a Certified Nutritional Consultant, also holds a Master's Degree in Literature and Art from Germany and is currently writing a book on Avoiding Disease and Obesity by Understanding Nutrition plus is working on an accompanying TV show with her husband, an independent TV producer.
