The Ghostly Encounters of Scrooge

Charles Dickens’ story, The Christmas Carol, changed our celebration of Christmas, even to this day. As one small example, the greeting "Merry Christmas!" became popular and enduring as a result. In this program, host Lee Witting tells the story of Dickens' own visionary dream, and reads some of the ghostly encounters of Scrooge as described in the tale.
