Karl Payne
Dr. Payne is a pastor, teacher, speaker, author and chaplain. He is currently on staff at Antioch Bible Church of Redmond, WA. Where his primary role is serving as the Pastor of Leadership Development and Discipleship Training. He has continued to serve as the chaplain for the Seattle Seahawks football team since 1994. Karl’s reputation as an apologist and discipleship trainer is well known among professional athletes throughout the NFL, churches across the country, and home schooling advocates across Washington State. Karl has authored a three book discipleship series (Transferable Cross Training: Vol. 1 Essentials, Vol. 2 Apologetics and Vol. 3 Leadership Development). Each volume contains clear, concise, transferable discipleship lessons that help equip men and women for active and aggressive Christian service as servant leaders and soldiers for The Lord Jesus Christ. He has co-authored two books published by Multnomah Press Publishers, A Just Defense (1987), and Cross Training (1993), and contributed to two reference books, The Encyclopedia of Biblical and Christian Ethics, edited by R.K. Harrison, Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1987, and The Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics, edited by Ed Hindson and Ergun Caner, Harvest House Publisher, 2008.
