Cynthia Newman
Cynthia Newman is an Inspirational Speaker, Author and Entrepreneur whose mission is to empower, inspire and encourage others to pursue their passion so that they can live their best life. She is the creator of “Life by Design” inspirational blog where hundreds of readers eagerly await her messages weekly. (To access her blog, visit www.lifebydesign.typepad.com.) She gets great joy addressing any audience, through television, public speaking and writing. In addition to her blog, she is the author of the award winning book “RAISING QUEENS,” guest writer for the Spiritual Outlook column in the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper and has served as co-host for radio and television programs. She was recently awarded a proclamation by the State of Indiana General Assembly for her dedicated service to women and girls. Originally from Gary, IN, she is a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She began her career as a Human Resource Professional and later transitioned to entrepreneurship in the Financial Services Industry. She has been a business owner for more than a decade where she has taught numerous seminars on financial freedom. She holds several professional designations. Cynthia embraces the opportunity to support the community as Past President of Light of the World Christian Church, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Past Board Member of the Arthritis Foundation and graduate of the Leadership, Training and Development Program of United Way. More than anything, Cynthia credits her love for God for every success that she has had. Of all her accomplishments, most important is being the proud wife and mother to the love of her life, Eric and son, Jordan.
