Power of Giving Back: Chrysalis Diaries
Power of Giving Back: Chrysalis Diaries
Heartbroken in Manhattan; Sara shows us how lonely and frustrating urban life can be. She begins therapy to work on her deep-rooted issues and feeling of depression. One night she finds peace after helping a homeless man. As a distraction from her own issues, Sara continues to help others in need.
The Chrysalis Diaries follows Sara through her daily blogs, personal interactions and charity events. We watch her change from anti-social loner to human activist/Manhattan socialite. Throughout the novel Sara addresses tough issues such as cancer, teen suicide, abuse and the homeless. We also see Sara struggle to let the love of her life go and try to find love again. Sara teaches us how to take our negative energy and redirect it into a positive outcome.
