He has helped hundreds of clients manage their anger issues through his private practice as well as through a program certified by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in which he runs group sessions for offenders with anger issues. Smith is also the author of Taming Your Temper: A Workbook for Individuals, Couples, and Groups.

Nathaniel David Smith
Nathaniel Smith is the creator of the Temper Tamers program. He leverages his education and experience in psychology and sociology to provide counseling for families, groups and individuals. His licenses include Professional Counselor Supervisor with the Texas State Board and National Certified Counselor. He is also a member of the Texas Council On Family Violence as well as the American Counseling Association. In addition, he has an accredited program through the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to treat both men and women who batter. He is an experienced anger management group supervisor and has helped hundreds of individuals successfully tame their tempers. His experience has led to the writing of several articles about domestic violence, protective orders and tips about how to manage anger during the divorce process. His 15+ years experience with individual, couple and group counseling in the Dallas area has earned him specializations in anger management, conflict resolution, couples divorce, domestic violence and cognitive behavior therapy.
