Dr. Rachel Northern
Dr. Rachel Northern graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2003, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She specializes in Advanced Activator technique, which is a specific, low force chiropractic adjustment. Using the Activator method, Dr. Rachel can easily adjust all patients, from newborn babies to senior citizens, without twisting, turning, or “cracking” the body. Dr. Northern is a Family Wellness Chiropractor, and is certified in Pediatric Chiropractic and the Webster Technique, a pre-natal adjustment for expectant mothers.

Dr. Rachel is passionate about empowering women to lead their families to optimal health and has a special interest in nutrigenetics. She specializes in nutrition therapy, and utilizes whole food supplements to provide nutritional support for many deficiencies in the body caused by physical, chemical and emotional imbalances. By using hair and saliva tests, she can also determine chemical toxicity, hormonal imbalances and mineral disparities, also often treatable through nutritional supplements. However, she treats both men and women, as well as all ages.

Dr. Rachel’s mission is to provide quality healthcare to all who desire it; to educate people on the body’s ability to heal itself with the elimination of nervous system interference; and to work in harmony with other healthcare professionals to provide the best care for the patient.

Dr. Rachel is a published author of “A Journey to Vibrant Health “which discusses ways to take ownership of your health.

In her efforts to be actively involved in the community, she gives regular health talks and spinal screenings at various public community events. She is an active speaker on numerous health topics, such as health and wellness, female hormones, stress, detoxification, and pediatric chiropractic.

Dr. Rachel practices at Northern Light Care in Johnsburg since 2004 and lives in Richmond with her husband and two children. She is an active member of her church. She is involved in local chambers of commerce and community service groups.
