He said the new approach can help consumers determine the highest level of spending their household can sustain over time, in order to live within their means for the remainder of their lives.

Dr. Clifford Bassett, an Allergist and Immunologist, is the Founder and Medical Director of Allergy and Asthma Care of New York. Dr. Bassett is on the faculty of the New York University School of Medicine, the Weill Cornell Medical College, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Otolaryngology at SUNY Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn.

Dr. Bassett has been interviewed on numerous local and national radio and television programs as an allergy expert. These include CNN, MSNBC, CBS’s “The Early Show,” NBC’s “The Today Show,” ABC’s “Good Morning America,” “NBC Nightly News,” FOX News Network, Telemundo and NPR, among others.

A native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Cornelius Grove grew up and attended high school in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, receiving the B.A. and M.A.T. degrees. The Hopkins faculty honored him as "the student who contributed the most to the life of the university."
