Mark J. Pastin Mark Pastin has served as President of the Council of Ethical Organizations since 1988. The Council is a non-profit organization focusing on ethics in business, government and the professions. Mark began working as an ethics advisor soon after receiving his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1973. Over the past 40 years he has advised corporations and governments in the United States, Brazil, Switzerland, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Korea, Belgium, Mexico, Australia, France and Taiwan. He has served as a faculty member at Indiana University, the University of Michigan, Harvard University and Arizona State University, where he established the Lincoln Center for Ethics and served as Professor of Management in the W.P. Carey School of Business. His client list includes such corporations as American Express, Motorola, Medtronic, National Medical Enterprises, Intel, GE, NYNEX, Caterpillar, Oxford Health, MCI, Lincoln Electric, Caterpillar, GTECH, Texas Instruments, GlaxoSmithKline, the Williams Companies, National Health Laboratories, Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, Cadbury Schweppes, John Deere and many other large and mid-sized companies. He has also advised elected officials and candidates at all levels of state and Federal government, including two candidates for the U.S. Presidency.
