Bob Rosenberg Bob Rosenberg is the longtime official scorer for the Chicago Bulls, who received a surprise cake in his face during a game Nov. 6, 2012, in honor of working his 2,000th contest for the team. In the history of the franchise, he has missed only two home games -- and that occurred in 2000 when he went to Japan to be official scorer for the Chicago Cubs-New York Mets series in Tokyo. Bob also has been official scorer for more than 2,000 Chicago White Sox games. If there is a Hall of Fame for official scorers, Bob has to be a charter member. He also has worked at Chicago Bears, Blackhawks and Cubs games -- among several other teams. He has seen just about everything and everyone on the Chicago sports scene in the last 50 years and has remarkable recollection of it all. |
