Mark Knope Mark Knope was Born & raised in Downriver Detroit (Wyandotte) MI. He Graduated with a B.A.A. from Central Michigan University Mark is divorced, or as he puts it, is a "Born-Again Bachelor,” and has one son, Andrew; currently a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S.M.C. Mark began his standup career on March 21, 1986 - appearing at his first OPEN-MIC at the New Chinatown restaurant in Albuquerque, NM; where he and his family resided at the time. Since then, he has gone on to headline clubs, colleges, casinos and special events all over the U.S. and Canada - doing nearly 5,000 shows along the way! He's appeared on COMEDY CENTRAL, ABC TV & The FOX Network. Several cuts from his CD, "Don't Laugh...It'll Only Encourage Him" have received regular airplay on XM SATELLITE RADIO's channel 150.
