At one time, Karynne Summars was an international corporate finance professional. But her former career did not allow her to spend the time to fulfill her long dream of writing a novel. So she decided to start all over again and follow her dream of becoming a writer. And she succeeded. Her first novel is a romance thriller called Desperate Pursuit in Venice .

She currently lives in New York and Marbella, Spain. Before focusing on her creative talents she worked as an international corporate finance professional in New York for over 20 years.
