Elena Delle Donne Carving her own path is what Elena has always done. After leading her high school to 4 state championships she chose to continue her education and athletic career in her home state at the University of Delaware. While at Delaware, Elena lifted the women’s basketball program to a new level and placed them on the map nationally. She led Delaware to back-to-back conference titles, two undefeated conference seasons, and took the team all the way to the sweet 16 completing the best season in school history. Elena not only elevated the play at the University of Delaware but she changed the game of women’s basketball on a national level. During her college years Elena also joined the USA team that participated in the World University Games in Shenzhen, China in the summer of 2011. This team consisted of the most outstanding college players in the country. These games featured the elite women’s college basketball players from across the globe. While competing with this team, Elena led the team in scoring and rebounding, was second in assists, and helped the team secure a gold medal. While Elena would much rather be recognized for her unparalleled team play, she also collected numerous personal accolades throughout her college career. She was among the top scorers in the nation, she ranks third in division one history for average points per game, she holds the conference record for scoring with 3039 points, and she holds the conference record for points scored in a single game with 54. After graduating from the University of Delaware Elena was selected second overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2013 WNBA draft. On the court Elena quickly excelled becoming rookie of the month for the month of June and player of the week for the week ending June 30, 2013. Off the court elena has formed several partnerships with companies that share her vision. Oscar Robertson Oscar Robertson is a retired guard who played for the Cincinnati Royals and Milwaukee Bucks. During his 14-year career, he won an NBA title and a league MVP. He was also a 12-time All-Star and 11-time All-NBA selection. He is the only player in NBA history to average a triple-double for a season. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980 and is a member of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Robertson was a three-time national scoring champ, All-American and player of the year at the University of Cincinnati. He was selected for the National College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
