Financed by individual donations, earnings from associated businesses and grants from governments, foundations and companies, NGOs mobilize financial resources, materials and volunteer labor, in order to sustain humanitarian projects and programs across the globe.
Many NGOs are familiar The Red Cross; The Red Crescent; Doctors Without Borders; Oxfam; CARE.
Others are obscure.

, a lifelong communicator and interviewer. He's currently President of the Rotary Club of Okotoks, Alberta, Canada. He has served as international broadcast media liaison at the Olympic Winter Games and also chaired United Way campaigns for many years at both the corporate and community levels.
Dick has long harbored a desire to produce and host a syndicated radio program about the work of charitable and humanitarian organizations. As host of
