Ric BrattonPopular veteran broadcaster Ric Bratton's career includes extensive experience in both radio and television. He is a talented interviewer, and hosts his shows without spin or shock. His fascination with broadcasting started at an early age. While still in high school, Ric started a school radio station, wrote sports for the local weekly newspaper, did as many as three record hops a week, and was a part time disc jockey for two commercial radio stations! As a student at the University of Toledo majoring in Radio/TV, Ric began his TV career as a staff announcer and weekend sports anchor for WSPD-TV Toledo. It was in 1967 that Bratton joined Ohio's WLIO-TV (then WIMA-TV) to gain more on-camera experience. He went on to serve the station as news anchor, sports director and weather specialist. Ric Bratton is now heard on as the host of several shows: the nationally syndicated THIS WEEK IN AMERICA and THE RIC BRATTON SHOW, along with the popular feature vignette, JUST SO YOU KNOW.
