Susan Frank
is a naturalist (one who teaches about the natural world) and an educator. After teaching in public and private schools she began her career in environmental education at the Ryerson Conservation Area in Riverwoods IL. Her credentials include having worked for the United States National Park Service as an Interpretation Ranger at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, an educator at Chicagos Field Museum of Natural History, and a Docent Coordinator at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, Illinois. As supervisor of educational programming at Spring Brook Nature Center, she developed programming and taught all age levels to increase their understanding and deepen their relationship with the natural world. Susan is currently obtaining her Masters of Arts degree in Educating Adults and holds a Bachelors degree in later elementary education.Her passion is for helping people increase their understanding of and appreciation for all animals. |
