Dave Baum's top-rated talk shows have been heard on Chicagos WBBM and WIND, KMOX St. Louis as well as WMAQ-TV (NBC) and WFLD-TV, Chicago. He has also reported and written for United Press International and City News Bureau of Chicago. For the past 15 years, Dave has been heard on CBS WSCR Chicago. Dave has spent four decades reporting and interpreting issues-based news and sports events to his radio, TV and print audiences.

In 1991, he founded The Dave Baum Media Training Group in Chicago providing his clients with a menu including Media Spokesperson Training, Crisis Communications, Issues-Strategy, Presentation Skills Enhancement and 1:1 Executive Communications coaching. He is also an adjunct Professor of Corporate Education at the Lake Forest (IL) Graduate School of Management.

His skill at asking questions and digging into stories has led to numerous awards including a prestigious Peter Lisagor Award in Chicago.
