Hank Clemons, PhDHank Clemons is founder and President of the Society of Emotional Intelligence – a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing emotional intelligence into practice in all walks of life including schools, families, organizations, and communities. Hank is also the President of The HLC Group, Inc. – a training and consulting firm located in Tampa, FL. He has over 20 years of corporate experience as a coach and internal training consultant working primarily with federal agencies. Areas of focus include Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, and Coaching. He is typically retained to spearhead education and consulting initiatives designed to bring about a culture change within the organization. Often coaching is employed to reach the desired results. He is often a presenter at conferences; speaking on a variety topics including emotional intelligence and leadership. He is adjunct faculty at the University of South Florida and the University of Maryland University College where he teaches a variety of courses including: Human Resources Management, Principles of Management, and Organizational Behavior. He is the author of several books including: Applying Emotional Intelligence, From Mail Room to Board Room and his latest, Could Your Emotional Intelligence Be Holding You Back. |
