Daniel Ribacoff

Daniel Ribacoff (56 years old) is the founder and CEO of International Investigative Group, Ltd. (IIG). IIG is a
private investigation, credibility assessment and security firm with offices in New York City, Long Island,
Westchester, Los Angeles, Boca Raton, FL and London. He is the qualifying license holder for the firm. Mr.
Ribacoff has been a private investigator for over 25 years. He is a member of the American College of Forensic
Examiners, World Association of Detectives, the National Counsel of Investigation and Security Services,
American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, the Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State
and the American Society for Testing and Measures (ATSM International). Mr. Ribacoff is a member of the
British and European Polygraph Association, Member Number 101290, the International Society of Polygraph
Examiners, New York State Polygraph Examiners Association, as well as the American and National Polygraph
Association. Mr. Ribacoff is certified in Advanced Post-Conviction Sex Offender Testing. Mr. Ribacoff tests for
18b and Criminal Justice Act Federal Court matters. Mr. Ribacoff is a member of the City of New York Police
Reserve Association; he was named as the 1991 Man of the Year for the NYPD Honor Legion. This is an honor
he shares with Mayor Koch, Mayor Giuliani, Sen. John McCain, Police Commissioner Safir and Police
Commission Bratton, to name a few. He has been on the committee of the Nassau County Bar Association’s
WE CARE fund for 18 years. He was the 2009 Honoree.

As an investigator, Mr. Ribacoff has worked on many notable cases. He was the lead investigator representing
Lloyd’s of London on the Tiffany Jewelry Store armed robbery. Over 95% of the $2 million in jewels were
recovered, and all of the parties at fault were arrested. Mr. Ribacoff was an investigator for AIG Insurance Co.
in a $120 million bank fraud case. To date, this is one of the largest bank fraud cases in United States history.
Mr. Ribacoff was also the lead investigator for Lloyd’s of London on several armored truck losses, the first being
Hudson Armored Truck’s loss that occurred in 1994. There, $8.1 million was recovered and arrests were made.
This is the second largest cash recovery in US history. The next notable armored truck case is the Revere
armored truck case that involved the embezzlement of $38 million by its principals. This is the largest armored
car loss in history. He was also recently retained by Lloyd’s to investigate the largest armored car robbery in
Mexico ($12 million) and a $5 million armored car theft in Mexico.

Mr. Ribacoff has worked on the 1993 World Trade Center bombing investigation and was appointed by theUSDC, Southern District of New York to conduct National and International investigations into the case captioned US v. Osama Bin Laden, et. al., pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act. He also was an investigator
working for one of the NYPD defendants in the Amadou Diallo case. This was a highly publicized case, where
NYPD officers fired 41 times at an unarmed subject.

Mr. Ribacoff has conducted many fine arts investigations, where the recovery of rare works of art was effected:
such as Monet, Picasso, Basquiat, Vargas and Twombley paintings. He was retained by Lloyd’s of London to
investigate the theft of 21 Seventeenth Century art works belonging to the Mexican government. He recovered
five stolen, precious paintings in CT from the residential burglary/arson of a prominent CT family. The suspect
was identified and arrested.

He has successfully investigated many financial losses involving Wall Street stock brokerage firms and various
corporations. His investigations have resulted in millions of dollars being recovered throughout the world, for his
clients. He was retained to locate the assets of the Government of Iran in the United States. He was hired to
locate the assets of Organized Crime figures, who defrauded the New York Metropolitan Transportation
Authority of $12 million dollars.

He was named as one of the “Top 15” investigators in the U.S. by ION

Mr. Ribacoff is a preceptor and APA School-trained examiner. He studied and tested under the late Gene
Sandacz, a renowned polygraph examiner, with close to 40 years of experience. Mr. Ribacoff began training
with this master polygraph examiner in 1994. Mr. Ribacoff’s theory studies were from the US Department of
Defense, Polygraph Institute curriculum. Mr. Ribacoff was trained in the use of Analog, Lafayette, Axciton and
Limestone Technologies Computer Polygraph equipment. Mr. Ribacoff is a graduate of the Academy for
Scientific Investigative Training. This American Polygraph Association-approved school is owned and operated
by Nathan J. Gordon, a world-renowned polygraph researcher and past-President of the APA. Bill Fleischer is
the Assistant Director of the school. Mr. Fleischer is a former FBI polygraph examiner. Mr. Ribacoff studied
directly under Messrs. Gordon and Fleischer. Mr. Ribacoff has also trained at the Marston Polygraph Academy,
San Bernardino, California.

Mr. Ribacoff conducts testing for criminal accusations, employee theft, insurance fraud, immigration issues,
family issues, abuse allegations, media, etc. He has presented his findings to State and Federal Prosecutors,
Supreme Court-Criminal, Civil and Matrimonial matters, Family Court matters, Human Rights Commissions,
Department of Social Services/Child Protection Agencies, etc. He has traveled to Cartagena, Colombia to
conduct examinations on a Federal Drug Trafficking Case. Mr. Ribacoff tests for Police Departments that do not
have their own polygraph examiners on staff. He is on the Expert Panel of the Office of the Mayor of the city of
New York and Nassau County, New York Assigned Counsel Plan for Criminal Court and Supreme Court-
Criminal Part cases. He conducts polygraphs for the Kings, Queens and Nassau County Legal Aid Society. He
is on the Expert Panel for Federal Criminal Court, under the Criminal Justice Act. He is an expert for an
NBC/Universal television show that is internationally syndicated. He has lectured in Lisbon, Portugal; Budapest,
Hungary and St. Julian, Malta on Credibility Assessment Techniques.
