Caron McConnon, originally a Washington, DC native is now living in Rome, Italy and is currently The Business Development- Area Manager for Venere.com. Venere.com is in the Expedia family brand for online accommodation bookings. Caron has 20 years experience in managing Key Partnerships and Affiliations in such global areas that include the United States, Canada and Australia. In her current role, Caron handles all aspects of the new partnership agreements, affiliations and CPC agreements from the contract negotiation stage to the XML feed integration side of IT for her Venere Affiliates. In addition to her current position at Venere, Caron teaches in a Business English course for the European Tourism Masters Program at UET in Rome.
