Whose Apple is it Anyway?

As a survivor of emotional and physical abuse, rape, divorce, a 17-year marriage to a man who was later convicted as a sexual predator, two emotional breakdowns, homelessness and grief, Linda F. Williams learned a remarkable lesson- The difference between victim and victor lies in leveraging the pain to make it all count for something. Making it count begins with forgiveness. As long as we fail to forgive we fail to heal. If we fail to heal we are stuck in the muck and mire of abuse – it colors our entire lives. It taints our perspectives and influences every life-decision. It relegates us to a relentless cycle of victimization to the point of remaining in perpetual grip of the same hurtful events that sidetracks us months, years, even decades, later.
