Distressing NDE's

Not all NDE's are positive experiences. Author and researcher Nancy Evans Bush has created a website and written a book called Dancing Past the Dark to discuss these distressing near death experiences. Both the website and the book include a variety of perspectives: academic, secular, religious, and “spiritual but not religious.”

Nancy Evans Bush
Nancy Evans Bush has been affiliated with the International Association for Near-Death Studies since 1982 – first as the Executive Director, then as long-term Board member and President, and now as the leading researcher on distressing near-death experiences. She is the author of a key book on the subject, Dancing Past the Dark.
