Susan Aurelia Gitelson, Ph.D., is a philanthropist and international businessperson, who has drawn upon her own extensive giving experiences with higher education, awards, and other areas over many years donating to Columbia University and elsewhere to offer guidance to others for meaningful giving. “Dr. Susan” was co-chair of the Dean’s Council for the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs. She has had books and articles published on four continents and was awarded Columbia University’s prestigious medal for distinguished alumni service.
