Paul Achitoff
Paul Achitoff graduated from Harvard College and Columbia Law School. After litigating at law firms in Los Angeles and Honolulu, Paul joined Earthjustice in 1994, where he is the managing attorney of the Hawaii office. Some of Paul's successes have included rulings banning swordfish long lining from some seven million square miles of the Central Pacific to protect endangered sea turtles, closing the commercial lobster fishery in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands to protect endangered monk seals, and restoring stream flow to Oahu’s windward watersheds.

Mike Gabbard
Gerald Michael 'Mike' Gabbard is a member of the Hawaii Senate, representing the 19th District since 2006. He has social conservative political views, who rose to prominence for his successful effort to ban the legalization of same-sex marriage through an amendment to the Hawaii State Constitution in 1998. He is also a businessman and musician. Mike is the founder/chairman of Stand Up For America, a non-profit educational organization that is intended to promote social change and patriotism. Mike founded and is also the chairman of Healthy Hawaii Coalition, a non-profit group whose two-fold purpose is to protect the environment and to improve individual and community health. In 2007, Mike Gabbard switched from the Republican Party of Hawaii to the Democratic Party . His stated reason for doing so was that he believed that he could be more effective to his constituents as part of the majority party in the Hawaii State Senate.

James LaValle
Dr. LaValle has been involved with natural medicine for the past fifteen years and is a nationally recognized figure in the field of natural therapeutics.
