Our guest this week is Cliff Guthrie, Ph.D. . Dr. Guthrie is is the Circle Professor of Humanities at Husson University in Bangor, Maine, where he coordinates the philosophy area in the School of Science and Humanities and teaches courses in ethics, philosophy, and world religions.

Cliff Guthrie
Clifton F. Guthrie, Ph.D. is the Circle Professor of Ethics and Humanities at Husson University. He received his B.A. from Duke University, his M.Div. from Candler School of Theology, and his Ph.D. from Emory University. He taught for fifteen years in theological education at Emory University and Bangor Theological Seminary, during which time he published many books and articles on practical theology and was a visiting scholar at Cambridge University’s Psychology and Religion project. In 2007 he joined the faculty at Husson University where he teaches ethics, philosophy, and religion, coordinates the humanities area of the School of Science and Humanities and directs the annual Husson Symposium on Ethics. His most recent publications include articles about smart technology and ethics, and he is writing an ethics textbook based on recent findings in moral psychology.
