The New President Of IANDS

Our guest on this show, Charles "Chuck" Swedrock, the new President of IANDS, is a perfect example of how life in this world can run amuck. To look at Chuck’s resume, you’d think he’d lived a balanced life thus far in his 40-year career as a systems programmer. Yet Chuck was raised in 15 different family situations, with a mother who suffered from such extreme post-partem depression they had to administer shock therapy, and a father who wound up giving his kids away. It was during a session at the dentist that Chuck heard a near-death story that piqued his curiosity, and it planted a seed that came full flower when, in August of 1985 he learned his half-brother David had killed himself. Chuck’s out-of-body understanding of that, coupled with his mother’s vision of David and Jesus, became Chuck’s personal introduction to the other side -- though as most NDErs know, life doesn’t necessarily get any easier, even after our eyes get opened.
