Atta Behfar, M.D., Ph.D.
Atta Behfar, M.D., Ph.D., is a senior associate consultant in the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases at Mayo Clinic. He is also an assistant professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Behfar obtained his M.D.-Ph.D. degree in molecular pharmacology and experimental therapeutics from Mayo Graduate School in 2006.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, served a dietetic internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and worked as a registered dietitian and health risk counselor at ThedaCare of Appleton, Wis., before joining the Mayo Clinic staff.
