The Conspiracy Show: How to Respond to an Anti-conspiracy Theorist

ichard read from an article posted online entitled How To Respond To An Anti-Conspiracy Theorist in which the author offers tips on what to do and say when confronted by someone who doesn't believe in conspiracies. Particularly useful were the suggested responses to challenging questions from anti-conspiracies like, "Governments are so incompetent they can't even deliver the mail on time or balance a budget. They couldn't conspire their way out of a paper bag!" or "If this were true the media would be all over it. It would be on every front page of every newspaper in America." Richard then invited callers to reveal how their conversations play out with anti-conspiracy theorists.

Energy Healing and Big Pharma

Reiki master Gail Thackray talks about her work in the field of natural healing through Reiki and energy alignment. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. She'll discuss why she believes alternative modalities of healing such as Reiki and other energy-based therapies pose a significant threat to orthodox medicine and the pharmaceutical industry.
