Sheila Ybarra Sheila was born in California and moved to Texas in 1990. Upon moving to Texas she became involved in pageants and has held titles such as, Miss San Jacinto USA, Miss Bay Area USA, and in 1999 she was named top 12 at Miss TX USA. She worked as a Mechanical Estimating Engineer for several years. While working as an engineer during the week, her hobby of hair and makeup artistry filled her weekends. She decided to follow a passion and not a profession and gave up engineering for makeup brushes and a curling iron. She has now started a personal grooming and communication development company called Image Consulting. She travels the United States working with contestants in pageants and has been the official makeup artist for the Houston Texans Cheerleaders for three years. Her work has been featured in such magazines as Teen, Your Prom, Pageantry, Texas Women, Lifestyles, ESPN Magazine and "E" TV. Because of the positive ways pageants have impacted Sheila’s life, she competed at Mrs. Texas America as Mrs. Central Houston America and was named 3rd runner up as well as the swimsuit winner. Sheila also held the title of Mrs. Bayou City America and was 1st runner-up at Mrs. Texas America as well as the contestant's choice award and gown winner.
