This week, Anthony interviews David Pasquesi, an actor in Angels & Demons with Tom Hanks. He also interviews J.M. Pasquesi a noted and respected author of one of Rome's best and most highly ranked guidebooks Rome with Kids. The interview takes place in Pompey's Theater in Rome right off of Campo dei Fiori at a restaurant built over the ruins named Da Pancrazio. This is the spot in Rome where Julius Caesar was assassinated.

David Pasquesi
David Pasquesi is a comedian and actor living in Chicago. He is currently in Director Ron Howard's "Angels & Demons" playing the character Claudio Vincenzi. Some of his other screen credits include Groundhog Day, Strangers with Candy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Return to Me, and The Ice Harvest. He recently starred in the Steve Delahoyde short film Regrets that premiered in An Event Apart, and co-starred with Jeff Garlin in Garlin's I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With; In addition, he co-produced and starred in the TV series "Factory" with fellow comedians Mitch Rouse, Michael Coleman, and Jay Leggett. He co-wrote and co-starred in Cop Show with Tracy Letts. He's a veteran performer of the Second City as well as the Improv Olympic, Improv Institute, and Annoyance Theatre. He currently performs with T. J. Jagodowski in "TJ and Dave," one of the more popular running improv shows performing both in Chicago and New York, and was recognized as Improviser of the Year by the Chicago Improv Festival. The 2009 South by Southwest Film festival includes the documentary “Trust Us, This is All Made Up” by T.J. Jagodowski and Dave Pasquesi.

J.M. Pasquesi
J.M. Pasquesi has been periodically traveling, living and working in Rome with her family for more than 17 years. She is a founding officer of Solo Roma books and is a freelance travel writer for publications including three Northstar Intelliguides (Rome, Italy and Chicago) and Travelworld International Magazine. Pasquesi is a sought-after expert on family travel to Rome and has been featured as an expert source in USA Today and on Tripadvisor.com. She has also appeared as a featured guest on several syndicated radio programs including Travel Talk Radio, The Joey Reynolds Show and Around the World. Passionate about Roman history early on, Pasquesi attended Loyola University, Chicago, where studies in Greek and Roman myth and the epic classics of Homer and Virgil led to her immersion in Ancient Roman History. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English and a minor in classical civilizations. Pasquesi first worked in advertising at D’ Arcy Masius Benton and Bowles in Chicago and later at F.Schumacher & Co. in New York. Her early career also included serving as project manager for various books and screenplays and working as assistant to the Director at the Museum of Contemporary Art. However, Pasquesi fully realized her passion for Rome when she met and married her husband, actor David Pasquesi, who introduced her to the city and shared his love for Rome and the Italian language. They began traveling to the ancient city regularly with their two children and briefly made it their home. While in Rome, Pasquesi started freelance travel writing, contributing to several publications and building a reputation as an expert. Pasquesi resides with her husband and children in Chicago, Ill. where she continues to write.
